I don’t understand why congress and the senate have the legal right to investigate sports such as the steroid scandal in MLB and the videotape issue in NFL. If anything, shouldn’t this be a judiciary issue and one that is handled by the courts? I don’t see why they have this declared right to investigate this random crisis when there are many other concerns in this country.
In response to inapropriatus- what does this anti-trust exemption mean and imply? I always thought congress made the rules and the courts enforced them (not to simplify things too much).
