Tuesday, December 30th, 2008How much money to start up a neighborhood sports bar?
Monday, December 29th, 20083M TA3 asked:
I’m thinking about investing some of my cash I have saved over the years and starting a sports bar in the development I am living in. They are building a huge town center and no pubs or bars are there yet. I have never run any bar but KNOW this would go over well if done right….so what suggestions do you have for me and what do you think I would need for finance..Min? Obviously I would serve pub style food too.

What is the best camera to buy for sports photography?
Monday, December 29th, 2008Winged Wheels asked:
First of all I am a PHD user of cameras (Push Here Dummy) (I don’t want to deal with changing of lenses, focusing, backlighting, etc.) I have 2 kids in sports (soccer, gymnastics, basketball football). They are often far away in the middle or on the other side of the field and of course in action! I want to be able to take quality CLOSE UP pictures with PHD function - good, fast, self-focusing zoom function an absolute must, and multiple fast repeating shots. So what are the best ones out there - I am not made of money so I would like to stay well under $1,000 while maintaining quality of picture and product performance. Anyone who has the experience to advise on what the aspects are to consider with regard to zoom capabilities/multi-frame shots and/or pinpoint a couple of selections would be greatly appreciated. (We have 7.0 mega pixel purse size camera, but its zoom while O.K. for nearby photos is O.K. just won’t cut it for the sports!)

Sunday, December 28th, 2008What is a great way to raise money for high school sports?
Saturday, December 27th, 2008Megan asked:
I’m on the cheer squad and we are EXTREMELY down on money like many of the sports at my school. we are not allowed to sell foods such as pasteries but we can sell lollipops, but we’re doing that already. The carwashes that we do don’t raise a lot of money for football or cheer.

What’s an fundraiser idea that high school sports can afford money to use buses, buy new mats, go on trips, etc.?

I’ve been into collecting for about 4 months now. Baseball sports cards only. And my question is-
What are some good sports cards to invest in? Like cards that cost about $100 and are already graded PSA or BGS 10. Links to eBay would be great!

Where can I find made-up jerseys for teams in different sports?
Thursday, December 25th, 2008Countdown asked:
I once saw a website where this guy had designed uniforms for teams if they were to play in different sports (for example, a New York Mets hockey jersey, a Chicago Bulls footbal jersey or a Colorado Avalanche baseball jersey). Some of them were really cool. Does anyone know where I could find that?
