What olympic sports do you feel should be cut?
Friday, January 2nd, 2009moderateprofessor asked:
This is the last olympics for baseball and softball, which I can’t really understand, but while they are at it, what about other sports that don’t really make much sense? I love the olympics, but ping-pong and competitive trampoline (come on! really? is that a sport?) might not need to be continued. What are your thoughts?

Why is the government preoccupying itself with problems in sports rather than real issues?
Sunday, December 14th, 2008kenny_scarface asked:
I see Congress is now getting involved in the SpyGate scandal with the Patriots. With this and with the steroid witchhunt that Congress ran in baseball, it seems as though they’re devoting a lot of time to sports rather than focusing on the war in the Middle East or health care problems or the struggling economy. I’m truly hoping someone can come up with a legitimate reason for this, I’d be interested.

Why do colleges allow people in for playing sports?
Tuesday, October 28th, 2008the taino boy asked:
I don’t think colleges should allow people into their universities just because they play football or baseball, or something. I think admission into universities should only depend on the intelligence of the person.

What do you think? Do you think that universities should continues allowing people in just because they play sports proficiently, or should universites only let people in only for their intelligence? I mean, isn’t that what colleges are for? Education, not athletic training.
