curiousJ asked: I’ve been transfixed with the Olympics. I’m 30 and have never done a sport. Is there ANY kind of sport I could start now to be in time for qualifying for London 2012.I want to experience the same sense of pride those atheletes feel when representing their countries.
I only have four years.
No silly answers please.

moderateprofessor asked:
This is the last olympics for baseball and softball, which I can’t really understand, but while they are at it, what about other sports that don’t really make much sense? I love the olympics, but ping-pong and competitive trampoline (come on! really? is that a sport?) might not need to be continued. What are your thoughts?

………….. asked:
I have to say the 1993 Dream Team(MJ, Magic, Bird, etc.). That team was full of all-time greats and they dominated their competition like no other. They went threw the entire olympics without calling a time out. That has to be the greatest sports team assembled.

Jorge N asked: I have heard that the official announce on this was said in the closing ceremony, but I didn’t´t hear anything like that.
The rumors say that Softball and Baseball, but some others say that Softball, Baseball and Tae kwan do. Which is the real thing?
And which sports will be added?

Dr.Einstein asked:
I know that men and women compete against each other in some of the equestrian events, like dressage and show jumping. I think men and women also compete against each other in Badminton mixed teams. According to the nbcolympics.com website there are 3 sports, but I only found 2. I think they used to have mixed doubles in tennis, but no more. What else?
