Me! asked:
Ok, so I am not that really into sports but I want to start playing one for college and to get active. My friend used to fence and she gave me the number and I really wanted to do it since it didn’t involve tons of running. My mom called and got the information and I was going to sign up when school started since we have a lot of plans this summer. However, I recently watched the French Open and got really into tennis and I went outside and played with the racket and stuff and I was actually alright at it (I was shocked lol). So now I really want to do tennis instead of fencing but my mom will get mad that I changed my mind so fast. Should I do both? And also I dont really like wearing skirts so can I play tennis in shorts or something or is the skirt required?
Sorry I meant to put racquet.

And why don’t we have, for instance, a daily section dedicated to music, or graphic design? It seems like music and designs, among many many others, are not of the same status and prominence as sports. Why is that so?

Cathy D asked:
There are several sports at my school that I want to play, but the problem is that they run at the same times during the year. I want to do either football cheering or soccer, and then I want to do either basketball cheering or drama. How can I decide which ones I should do? This year I did football and basketball cheering and was baseball manager. I’m also thinking of playing softball, but that doesn’t conflict with any of the others. Please help me make these decisions.

urban cowgirl asked:
I categorize myself as a tomboy with a feminine side. I genuinely love watching football, baseball and hockey. I have my own teams, and am not gonna tell a guy oooh I like Brees, he’s such a good leader… just so he likes me.
Tell me why it’s such a turn-on for a girl to love sports? Just curious.

Do you choose a specific doctor for sports physicals? Do you stay in the room or wait outside? Can a physical be done by the school nurse? Is there any part of the sports physical that you can refuse and still pass a physical?

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how I would get into a career in sports. I have been working for two years as a project manager and I really like Baseball and stats. I would like to be a scout or something similar.
